Designed with the busy student in mind, workshops are a longer, one-session course. After the course, you are provided with practice materials. The goal is to get you started on your instrument and practicing independently.

Piano 101: Lead Sheets
Lead sheets, aka "Fake Books" are a simple form of music notation, used by many pianists to quickly learn their favorite songs. This course focuses on beginner-friendly fundamentals such as chord building, melody reading, rhythm, style and accompaniment techniques. Participants will master these skills as they use a lead sheet to create an original arrangement on the piano

Intro to Ukulele
This course will teach ukulele fundamentals and help students develop a joyful relationship with the "instrument of peace". Topics covered will include ukulele history, tuning the uke, fretboard navigation, melodies & chords, strumming techniques and fingerpicking patterns. Students will learn how to play the ukulele solo as well as with other musicians.

Vocal Workshop
Join this course to discover and develop your unique singing voice. Through exploration, structured exercises and personalized feedback, you will strengthen your technique and develop a reliable practice routine. We will practice group and solo singing. By the end of the course, you will gain skills and confidence, enjoy singing and express yourself comfortably through your voice. No experience or prior training is necessary.

Music Explorers is a joyful and empowering workshop designed to build teamwork skills and self-confidence through the exploration of a variety of music making activities. While a reliable curriculum is ready, the workshop remains flexible to the needs and interest of its participants. We lead with a spirit of discovery, teamwork, and determination. Our goals are to grow as musicians, learn about ourselves, and discover how music can make the world a better place.
